ATLSxA212D

In order to meet the changing needs for using high voltage diode lasers or driving a series of diode lasers simultaneously, we have developed the ATLSxA212 series of laser drivers/controllers: ATLS50MA212D, ATLS500MA212D, ATLS1A212D, ATLS2A212D, ATLS3A212D and ATLS5A212D. Newly developed high speed laser drivers include ATLS500MA212DHS, ATLS1A212DHS, ATLS2A212DHS and ATLS3A212DHS. Their input voltage ranges between 4.75V to 16V, the output voltage ranges from 1V to (VPS -1V), where VPS is the power supply input voltage. The maximum output voltage can reach 14V when powered by a 15V supply. There are 5 current capability versions, 50mA, 500mA, 1A, 2A and 3A. They are available in 2 styles: DIP (Dual In Line) through-hole package and SMT (Surface Mount Technology) package. The former has the part number with a suffix “D” which represents the DIP packaging, for the latter the suffix is “S” which represents the SMT packaging. For example: ATLS2A212D or ATLS2A212S.
The main features are high efficiency, high output power, small size, high current stability, low output noise, and wide modulation bandwidth. These controllers can be evaluated easily and conveniently by using their evaluation board, ATLS212EV1.0 along with the load assembly ATLSxA212 which we designed for this series as well. The ATLSxA212 is used to emulate the expensive laser diodes for evaluating these laser controllers.
